How are rubber ducks made?
Answer: 

Injection molding, baby! 

Step 1:  Melt yellow plastic. 

Step 2: Force the plastic under extremely high pressure into a hardened metal mold. 

Step 3:  Allow duck to cool. 

Step 4:  Paint bill orange. 

Step 5:  Paint eyes sky blue. 

Step 6:  Check the health of the newborn duck. 

Step 7: Place duck into tub.

Ok, ok, that wasn't that great a description.  We know.  It's somewhat shameful to deconstruct the emergence of a new rubber duck into the world into 7 poorly written bullet points.  But, there's good news:  Check out this video for some details about injection molding:
